「呂宋　小皿」。深い緑色は「呂宋」という焼き物の代表的な色で、浮世絵にみられる呂宋もこの色だし、「呂宋」を検索して出てくるのもこの色。見れば見るほど気になる魅惑の色。緑釉は「織部焼き」がポピュラーですが、呂宋で使用する緑釉は織部の緑釉とは成分の配合が異なり区別されています。
贅沢に使われている「印花文」（模様）も手作りです。この作品には更に「掛け分け」と呼ばれる技法も使われており、こげ茶の釉薬と深緑の釉薬の2色使いになっています。

呂宋の技術を再現できる唯一の作家が、手掛けた作品。
江戸時代に広く愛された呂宋。ご自宅で江戸の空間を楽しみませんか？

“RUSU Plate” ,the only one in stock. The deep green color is a typical color of RUSU pottery. This is the color of RUSU seen in UKIYO-E prints, and it is also this color that comes up when you search for RUSU.
So enchanting color that the more you look at it, the more you like it. For green glaze, ‘ORIBE’ is popular in our place (Seto city). The green glaze used in our ‘RUSU’ is distinguished from ORIBE green glaze in a different composition of ingredients.
The decorations called ‘IN KA MON(stamps)’ is handmade. The technique called ‘KAKE WAKE’ is also used, where two different color glazes are used side by side.

This is the artwork by Kato-san, the only ceramic artist who can reproduce the RUSU technique.
