「呂宋 Bottle」。一点ものです。「和」の暖かさをイメージしました。柔らかで落ち着いた色合いの釉薬（「黄瀬戸」とも呼ばれます）で仕上げられています。
「黄瀬戸」という色は400年以上前（安土桃山時代）からこのあたり（美濃・瀬戸など）で使われている色です
側面の「貼花文」（凸の模様）や「印花文」（スタンプ）も全て手作りです。
呂宋の技術を再現できる唯一の作家が技を詰め込んだ作品。迫力があります。

☆「貼花文」と呼ばれる立体的な模様は、江戸時代に愛知県瀬戸市で広まった「呂宋」と呼ばれる焼き物の特徴の１つです。「呂宋」は当時とても人気の焼き物で、喜多川歌麿の浮世絵にも描かれています。

※1点1点手作業で作った作品ですので、作品のサイズや釉薬のかかり具合など均一ではありません。多少の歪みがある場合もございます。ご理解の上、ご検討ください。

The bottle is finished with a soft colored glaze (also called ‘KISETO’)
The color KISETO has been used in this area (Mino, Seto) since more than 400 years ago (Azuchi -Momoyama period).
The decorations called ‘CHO KA MON(convex patterns)’ and ‘IN KA MON(stamps)are all handmade.
This is the artwork where Kato-san, the only ceramic artist who can reproduce the RUSU technique, put his skills, knowledge and passion. The bottle looks powerful.

“RUSU”, widely loved by the people of the EDO period. Why don’t you create special space in your home where you can feel the EDO period.

☆ The pattern called "CHO KA MON" is one of the characteristics of the pottery called "RUSU", which was widespread in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture during the Edo period. "RUSU" was a very popular pottery at the time, and it is also depicted in the ukiyo-e prints of Kitagawa Utamaro.
